Ombretta Para

Dr Ombretta Para is a qualified physician with a degree in Medicine and Surgery (2006) and specialization in Internal Medicine (2013) from the University of Florence. She holds a Master in Interventional Pulmonology (2019) and is pursuing a PhD in Clinical and Experimental Medicine. Since 2013, she has held the position of Level I Medical Director at the Internal Medicine 1 department of University Hospital of Careggi, Florence. Since 1 February 2023, she performs medical-surgical co-management at the Open Space departments of Emergency Surgery and Neurosurgery at University Hospital of Careggi, Florence. She was the FADOI (Federazione delle Associazioni dei Dirigenti Ospedalieri Internisti) Young Referent for EFIM (European Federation of Internal Medicine) from 2016 to 2019. She was the past National Young FADOI Referent from 2020 to 2022. Currently she is a member of the national FADOI secretariat team. She has been an active member of the Multimorbodity Working Group in EFIM since 2020.
