Mahmood is a global expert in clinical data, digital health & innovation fields. He has 25 years of medical, public health, academic, executive management and policy experience and delivered on key senior positions in the UK, USA & Middle East. Most recently, national healthcare advisor to the Minister of Health (Qatar), Medical Director of Public Health Scotland and National Executive for Quality & Innovation at the Department of Health (England).
He is an alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy School, Institute of Healthcare Improvement (USA) and Yale School of Public Health. Appointed Honorary Professor of Health Intelligence (Glasgow University) and Visiting Professor of Value-based Healthcare (Manchester Business School). He is qualified in medicine, public health, paediatrics, economics, management and health informatics.
