Ieva Ruža

Dr. Ieva Ruža is an internist and endocrinologist working at Riga East Clinical University Hospital and Riga Stradins University in Latvia. In her clinical work, she likes to use an interdisciplinary approach to problems. Her main medical focus is on calcium metabolism, sarcoidosis, and rare and autoimmune diseases. She has been a part of an EFIM family for many years, previously serving also as a Chair of EFIM Young Internists, and currently being a part of the EFIM Early Career Subcommittee. Being a passionate medical teacher, she has been a Director and a Co-Director of several EFIM postgraduate courses and participated in different activities, promoting high-quality clinical and scientific research cooperation among young specialists. Dr. Ieva Ruža is a Board member of the Latvian Society of Internal Medicine.
