Dr Evangelos Liberopoulos is an Internist-Lipidologist-Diabetologist. He currently serves as a Professor of Medicine-Metabolic Diseases, School of Medicine, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece and 1st Propedeutic Department of Medicine, General Hospital of Athens ‘Laiko’. His main academic and clinical interests include dyslipidemia, diabetes, obesity, hypertension, atherosclerosis, cardiovascular prevention as well as acid-base and electrolyte abnormalities. He has published more than 350 papers in international peer-reviewed journals Dr Liberopoulos is an Ordinary Member of the Executive Committee of the European Atherosclerosis Society (2024-2027).
