Cristina Ottaviani is a Full Professor at the Department of Psychology, Sapienza University of Rome. From the outset of her career, she has been dedicated to bridging the gap between scientific innovation and clinical application. To this end, she pursued dual training in psychotherapy (PsyD) and experimental psychology (PhD). With a strong background in clinical psychophysiology, her expertise lies in integrating neuroimaging techniques with peripheral autonomic monitoring. Driven by the belief that a comprehensive understanding of mental health requires a multi-level approach, her research aims to unravel the complex interplay between brain and body in psychological well-being.
