A/Professor Douglas Johnson (MBBS (hons), B Com, DTM&H, PhD, FRACP, GChPOM), is a General and Infectious Diseases Physician, the Director of the Department of General Medicine at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia and an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, University of Melbourne.

A/Professor Douglas Johnson completed his fellowship in Infectious Diseases in 2008, a PhD at the University of Melbourne in 2013, and a Diploma of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (London) in 2017. He has published over 110 papers covering internal medicine and infectious diseases and has secured over 1.9 million $AUD in research support.

Doug Johnson is the immediate past President and a continuing Board Member of the Internal Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand.
