Mona Amin

Prof. Mona Ahmed Amin has received her MD in Internal medicine Cairo University 1998 Currently, she is working as Professor of internal medicine –hepatology and gastroenterology division in Cairo University. She is the head of the internal medicine associate professor promotion committee. She is secretary general of the Egyptian society of internal medicine, member of the European association of the study of liver disease (EASL). Acted as external evaluator of the European commission Horizon 2020. Head of the ultrasound unit of the new Kasr Alainy teaching hospitals. Her research has included stem cell therapy in chronic liver disease and research in HCV, NAFLD as well as HCC. Based on these researches she has received several awards, such as the best thesis supervised by her from Cairo University. She is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several reputed journals
