Philippe Autier is an MD-epidemiologist who has worked in the cancer field for thirty-five years, mainly on skin melanoma, breast cancer and on cancer screening and diagnosis. PA has also performed research in non-cancer areas like osteoporosis, multiple sclerosis and diabetes. From 2005 to 2010, PA was the head of the Epidemiology Methods at the International Agency for Cancer Research (IARC) in Lyon. From 2011 onwards, he was Vice-President of the International Prevention Research Institute in Lyon.
